These guidelines help keep the platform useful, respectful, and trustworthy for everyone.
1. Be Respectful
Treat customers, shop owners, sellers, and other members of the StyleSathi community with respect.
Do not post or send:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or abusive language
- Hate speech or content targeting individuals or groups
- Personal attacks or intentionally harmful content
2. Keep Information Genuine
Share accurate and honest information when creating a shop, product, profile, review, or other content.
Do not:
- Create fake shops or misleading business information
- Upload products that do not belong to your shop
- Misrepresent products, prices, availability, or business details
- Impersonate another person or business
3. Product & Shop Listings
Shop owners are responsible for the information they provide about their shops and products.
Product listings should:
- Accurately represent the actual product
- Use appropriate and relevant images
- Include correct product information
- Avoid misleading claims or descriptions
4. Reviews & Feedback
Reviews should reflect genuine experiences.
Please do not:
- Post fake or misleading reviews
- Review a business without a genuine experience
- Manipulate ratings
- Post reviews in exchange for incentives intended to mislead other users
- Use reviews to threaten or harass shop owners or customers
Constructive and honest feedback helps the StyleSathi community make better decisions.
5. Appropriate Content
Keep content suitable for a general audience.
Do not upload or share content that is:
- Sexually explicit
- Extremely violent or disturbing
- Illegal or promotes illegal activity
- Abusive, threatening, or hateful
- Intended to scam or deceive others
6. Protect Personal Information
Respect everyone's privacy.
Do not publicly share another person's:
- Phone number
- Email address
- Home address
- Passwords or OTPs
- Financial information
- Private conversations
- Other sensitive personal information
Never ask another user to share their password or OTP.
7. No Spam or Scams
Do not use StyleSathi to send spam, fraudulent offers, misleading promotions, phishing links, or unwanted promotional messages.
Do not attempt to manipulate users into making payments or sharing sensitive information.
8. Shop Owner Responsibilities
Shop owners are responsible for maintaining accurate information about their business and products.
This includes keeping shop details, product information, prices, images, and other listing information reasonably up to date.
9. Report Problems
If you see content or behavior that appears to violate these guidelines, report it through the available StyleSathi support channels.
When reporting an issue, provide enough information for us to understand the problem.
10. Enforcement
StyleSathi may review reported content or activity and take appropriate action when these guidelines are violated.
Depending on the situation, actions may include removing content, restricting features, suspending an account, or removing a shop or listing from the platform.
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account or platform access restrictions.
11. Guidelines May Change
These Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time as StyleSathi grows and new features or situations arise.
We encourage users and shop owners to follow the latest version of these guidelines.
